Since the site is new, it doesn’t work very well yet. I tried several basic search terms, and only got a few relevant results. Clearly the site needs more users to make more comments to incite more revisions; right now, it just won’t compete with larger, more well-known search engines.

I’ve been so frustrated finding relevant sites I was thinking of trying to compile a list myself but the amount of work involved seemed overwhelming. Good-luck with your idea.

I’ve often felt that I wanted to search the internet using the equivilent of a subject catalogue, the same way you look for books in a library. The guy who mentioned consulting librarians has a good suggestion. You should consider it. I believe their professional organization is called the American Library Association.

Contact any professional association that includes research librarians to offer all research librarians the opportunity to be a volunteer editor. Their profession is to find useful information in a search.

Given time, as your finances allow, take the best of those volunteer editors and hire them as part-time editors.

Given more time and finances, use the pool of volunteer and part-time editors, hire more full-timers.
