Used Snow Blowers

Q. Where can I find used snow blowers for sale?

A. It’s not so easy, but below is a list of 7 likely sources to find a used snowblower in your area:

1. eBay – Over 1,000 used snow blowers up for auction or immediate sale here, including traditional gas snow blowers as well as ride-on snow throwers and lightweight electric snowblowers from brands including Toro, Honda, MTD, Ariens, John Deere, Cub Cadet, Kubota, Sears / Craftsman, Snapper, Husqvarna, more. Plenty of used snowblower parts here, too. (

2. – This is a very inefficient way to find a used snowblower, but if you browse through Amazon’s snow blower listings, you’ll see that some of the snowblowers show a few used units in addition to the new. Just click on the links for “Used” to see how much it costs to buy used. (

3. Iron Search – We saw about 40 listings for used snowblowers here, including MTD, Craftsman, John Deere, Ariens and more. You can also find listing for snow blowers that attach to trucks elsewhere on this site. (

4. Emerich Sales & Service – This upstate New York dealer had about a dozen used snow blowers for sale last we looked, including Ariens, Bolens and MTD models available. You’ll have to sort through listings for all types of outdoor equipment to find the snowblowers. (

5. eBay Classifieds – eBay also runs a straight classifieds Web site where you can used snow blowers with a fixed price. This link takes you to used snowblowers nationwide. You may want to use the site’s search feature to narrow the list down to those in your area. (

6. Craigslist – This link takes you to recently-listed used snow blowers for sale from Craigslist sites across the country. You can use this link to start, but would be best off going to the Craigslist site for your city or region and seeing if there are snowblowers for sale near you. (

7. Dave’s Turf & Marine – When you click through here you’ll see multiple pages of used outdoor equipment, including at least a half dozen used Cub Cadet and other brands of snowblowers from this Wisconsin dealer. Unfortunately you’ll have to sift through all of the listings to find them. (

8. Refurbished Snow Blowers from Sears Outlet – Sears Outlet stores offer a variety of used, refurbished snowblowers, and they list some of them online. The “catch” is that there is no guarantee that what you see online is actually available near you. Your best bet would simply be to go to the closest Sears Outlet and see what used snowblowers are for sale. (
