    Hey Adam the Envoy Xl does have a third row as the Chevy TrailBlazer extended model… But there gas mileage sucks so just buy the Suburban…

    I have looked at so many now I’m confused. I need some help! Which one’s get the best gas mileage, is comfortable, and is nice without spending a fortune? I’m looking for me and my daughter one - she has 3 kids - and I hate taking 2 cars to go somewhere.

    The Highlander hybrid is your best bet for comfort and gas mileage. I have seen the 2006/2007 models for as little as $20,000. So not super cheap, but do-able.

    Just checked out the Cadillac SRX, it has a third row. It is a V8 4.6L engine though so it probably goes through gas like toilet paper

    Josh, the Highlander’s already accounted for. Grand Vitara seats 5, XL-7 is no longer offered. Not sure about the other 3 but none are offered new anymore.

    yes, the Saturn is discontinued, we moved it down to the section of previously offered vehicles with a 3rd row.

    For 2010 model years the SRX NO LONGER offers a third row. Marylin what happened to the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia? (Yes I know it’s on the list,) Ooo and the Mazda 5 for the 2011 model year it will have 2-3-2 seating boosting it’s capacity to 7 instead of 6. I think the new year is released Fall. And the OUTLOOK isn’t discontinued, the whole friggan company is! Idiot!

    Bobby - do you know for a fact the 2011 Mazda5 has 2-3-2 seating? The guys at the dealership don’t seem to know anything (other than, “it’ll be a long time until the 2011 is released”), and I can’t find anything online that discusses the 2011 much at all. Just curious what you know, because the 2-2-2 seating is a deal breaker, in my opinion. Otherwise, I love the car.

    We are looking for 3rd row seating, but want the second row with captain chairs and no console so easy to get to back row. Heard only American vehicles are doing this (ex. Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse just to name a couple). Does anyone else know of any other vehicles with no middle console in second row?

    Deborah, the GMC Acadia has captain’s chair seating. I am looking for the same thing. It has a toyota engine. It’s similar to the saturn outlook. I almost bought one but it had too many miles.

    Both the Chrysler Pacifica and Ford Taurus X offer both a 2nd row bench or captain seats with or without a center console. (Don’t quote me on this but I do believe the center console in the Taurus X can be removed)

    They are both considered crossovers but they do have available AWD and have decent towing capability if that’s what you are looking for.
