Personal Blogs
Most blogs have no theme; they’re just personal blogs about people’s daily lives. But what are the best personal blogs, those worth the time to read? We’ve started with these 13. What else should be here? (Remember, topic is limited to 100 total, so yours will have to be special to stick in this category over the long haul.)
1. Dooce - Popular “mommy blog” that once got its author fired but now makes her a lot of money. (www.dooce.com)
2. Lylium - Blog of Erin Michelle Julian, who lives in Eugene, Oregon and just finished her freshman year of college. Which doesn’t quite do it justice. (lylium.org)
3. The Dilbert Blog - Despite its name, this blog by Dilbert author Scott Adams is only occasionally about Dilbert but may be about anything else Adams has decided he has something to say about. (dilbertblog.typepad.com)
4. Living with Multiple Personalities - Thirtysomething mother of two in Colorado blogs, and, yes, she really is living with multiple personalities. (www.aspenleafhosting.com)
5. Bumblebee Sweet Potato - Late 30s telecommuting mom talks about her life and her kids Bumblebee and Sweet Potato (NOTE: not their real names). (landismom.wordpress.com)
6. I Live Under A Rock - Partial description from this blog: “The life and times of a sheltered little geek who was never really aware of much in the world because her nose was always stuck in books and computers. Then one day she found out she was gay.” (www.iliveunderarock.com)
7. Scobleizer - Popular blog is that of Robert Scoble, who rose to blog fame originally by blogging about Microsoft and is now at a podcasting company called PodTech. Very techie in nature, but plenty of personal ruminations that make it qualify as a personal blog. (scobleizer.com)
8. SuperJason’s Personal Blog - ATVs, programming, life in Wisconsin. Often rather techie in nature. (www.superjason.com)
9. Jay Bazuzi’s Personal Blog - Seattleite discusses whatever. Posting’s been light since the twins came along. (jbazuzi.blogspot.com)
10. Travel Gretta - Talks. A lot. (travelgretta.blogspot.com)
11. Life in the Hornline - Twentysomething on life in Silicon Valley. (hornline.wordpress.com)
12. Bruner Blog - By way of Missoula, Budapest and NYC. (www.bruner.net)
13. Life is Beautiful, Only When You Perceive It… - The blog of a student in Mumbai, India. (dangiankit.blogspot.com)

Never a dull moment on this personal blog. Well, maybe one or two, but there are posts nearly every day about nearly anything under the sun. And a few that aren’t under the sun.

Hey, thanks for adding me! I definitely do live with them but I’ve accepted that it’s okay to be “different” in such a diverse world.
I’m really not that different than others that fight mental illness. Just a few more hurdles in life than others.
Again, thanks for listing me here.
