Not to be biased, but Ambigrams are where it’s at for name tattoos! Really, you can have two names at once (one forward - one upside down).
Other than that, be sure to keep away from low res lettering designs. You’ll want the best art possible to give to your artist.

Permanently tattooing someones name isnt the best idea. Unless you are committed or a family member or something. Names look great in chinese lettering.
