We purchased at Macy’s a king size mattress set from Jason in Vero Beach, FL. It was deliveres by ANDRESS. Wewere very pleased with both their service.. After about 5 or 6 days we noticed a large bulge on my wife’s side of the bed and a small one on my side. We called Macy’s customer service and they said they would send someone out to look at it in about 3 weeks. Then they called and said it would be about another week until someome could come out. The gentleman arrived Dec 12th measured and took many pictures. When he left he said someoone would call us after he submitted his report. About an hour after he left the lady called and said the bulges were from us sitting on the edge of the bed and there were no defects in the manufacturing. Well we only sat on the bed to get into or out of bed. What were to do jump in and out of the bed. We also put our shoes and socks on, sitting on the bed. We gave them our old mattress to dispose of and after 8 or 9 years, we had no bulges on the sides of the bed.. It was still very firm on the sides of the bed.
We have never had any of that trouble with any mattress we’ve had and several of them were Serta’s also. It would seem to us that they were being manufactured without much care or concern for the Quality. This mattress set on sale for $1,400. is a piece of crap that has a very short life span, I am sure. The excuse that us sitting on the side of the bed is ludicrous.
