It does not teach any grammer, or why you say things in a certain way. It is a good supplement, but it does not replace a good Spanish school, or living in a Spanis speaking country. Although Berlitz is a great program, it can also be expensive. The problem with making sure that the teacher is fluent in both languages is very important. Learning online is a much cheaper option, however you must develop a habbit for working on the program so you don't loose motivation. I also like Rocket Spanish.
