I bought a Jeld-Wen door for $1400 from Lowe’s and the finish is bubbling off. I think the product was very poorly manufactured. Neither Jeld-Wen or Lowe’s will replace the defective door, so I don’t recommend anyone buy anything from either one of them. I sure would not want to be an employee of Jeld-Wen.

I am a FL State Lic. contractor. I bought a Jeld wen “steel door” from H Depot. After painting it with semi gloss, we could see a number of dents. I found it to be so flimsy, I could dent it just by knocking on it with my bare hand. I called the factory and they said it is not defective because H Depot accepted it at delivery. I conclude they are proud of thier rubbish product. This is worse than the kind of garbage you expect to get from China. Jeld Wen should show respect for our country and just close the factory.
