4. ‘Terror’ Rides the Arctic Seas - January, 2007 review of Dan Simmons’ historical novel The Terror, based on an 1845 British expedition to the Arctic Circle led by Sir John Franklin. The expedition didn’t go well, but reviewer Deirdre Donahue thinks the book did. (www.usatoday.com)
