We had a loan through GMAC and we just paid it off. We had a couple late fees on there from when my husband got laid off. And I asked if since we are paying it off if they would take the late fees of.f. They were SOOOOO rude and really mean on the phone. I never had that happen until after they switched to Ally!!!!! GMACFS was so good to us. and never had a problem. Also I had asked for a deferral program a couple months ago. They said “We will send out the paperwork for the deferral and you just pay the partial payment and we can process it. Well the paperwork never cam so more late fees got added to it even though I called before it was late because we knew we wouldn’t have the money. And then they say that because I live in MI they don’t have to send the paperwork in the mail. Because it’s the law in MI that they don’t have to send any of that paperwork to the customer. How can that be legal. They don’t have to send you the paperwork! Even though they say on the phone that they are going to send it and when I get it to pay the partial payment and they can process it. Then to say “No ou can pay the partial payment online and we can process it right away. Ok now it is past the 10 day grace period so I have late fees because they want to play games? Not fair. We are getting a lease through them here in a week and I’m hoping we never get to where we can’t pay it because they are evil!

gmac, ur probably the worst f ing company around, i have sooo many friends who made payments to you on time, you quit cashing their checks trying to throw them into forclosure, SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!! the government should have let you fail and gave the stimulus money to the people, just wanted to say ur a bunch of greedy bastards and god will set things straight with ya lmao.

    Hey Russ,
The reason that GMAC stopped cashing your friends checks is because your friends were probably too far behind on payments for GMAC to accept them or in foreclosure. Believe it or not GMAC is not in the real estate business they are in the mortgage business. They dont just stop taking payments until the borrower (your friends) breach their mortgage contract most likely by not paying. Your friends must be not telling you the whole truth, by saying that they were on time with their payments.

GMAC is a Mafia operation that tries to steal your property…..they will not or cannot work with you, hundreds of people contact you demanding money, etc.
When is the Federal Government going to put a stop to these thieves?????

If you can’t pay you loans don’t buy stuff you losers. I am 26 and payed all my payments on time with extra money and gmac and ally treated me great. Stop looking for a hand out or save your money and pay cash. You all sound like a bunch of bums. If you are so worried about ally then start your own business and you do the financing. Get a life…..
