GMAC has done nothing but went down hill and will soon have its workers standing in the unemployment line! let me fill everyone in on something you should all keep your eyes open for! I bought a 2007 G6 brand new, in my name and my husband as a co-buyer. My husband had just payed off his 2004 truck and the payment for the G6 was to come out of my check just as the truck payment came out of his check. well 1st…the first 3(weekly) payments came out of my husbands check for my new G6 before we fig. out what was going on. I then called GMAC to fix the prob. as they no reason or answer as to how this happen. for 2 years the payments have come out of my check now, up untill about 6 months ago when they just stoped taking the payment out . I then called to aski why this happen they said they didnt know but i needed to make up the payments they didnt take out! (although it was at their fault) then to top it all off I did as they said and a few monthe latter they call me and tell me I am late! i told them no, the payments come out of my check they then told me I needed to pay the late fees. what late fees, you get the payment every week I told them. they then told me that because GM payrole was sending them my payment late I had to pay the late fees! Fair?? I think not! I then just went and payed almost 40,ooo cash for a new Camaro and they wanted to talk me into doing payments!! NO, Ill pay cash! so today I go on line to check my pay off on my G6 because Im looking to trade it in on another car and i see that the account still says my husband is the buyer and I am the co-buyer!! Please make sure you do not get stuck paying late fees on your payments do to GM payrole sending your payment in late. it may show on your chack you are up to date but they will still try to hold you respo. for their mess ups. I will never use GMAC again!

A dealership took possession of my car as a trade-in and papers were signed releasing me (us) from obligation to its auto loan on 7/28/09. GMAC has since sent Past Due notices and are threatening to report us. I would like to see them try to repossess a car they already possess. Both we and the dealership have tried to contact GMAC for acknowledgement of the loan pay-off to no avail. Oh, and GMAC happened to immediately get us set up with a new loan for the new car we traded the old one in for. We never had such trouble with GMAC in the past when we’ve done very similar dealings with them before. Now I suppose we’ll be better off hunting for auto and homeowners insurance with a company other than GMAC, seeing how GMAC is really being shifty. 9/5/09.

i just had my car repo i missed on 2 car payments due to my mortgage payment and i fell behind on my car payments what can i do or what can be done to have a lower car payment. this has never happen to us.
