recently I noticed charges on our Lowes credit card for charges that we did not authorize for some kind of unemployment protection, life and something else. We have tried to call lowes credit and they tell us to call Ge Money, we call Ge Money and they tell us to call Lowes, does anyone have a direct number to their corporate offices so we can get this charge removed.

DIRECT NUMBER:

877 – 969 – 1126

GE MONEY BANK FRAUD DEPARTMENT DIRECT FAX NUMBER:

877-318-1549
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They conducted a fraudulent transfer, their line staff is highly rude, GE MoneyBank opens credit cards WITHOUT NOTIFYING YOU, they screw up your credit reports, if you are a victim of identity theft, ACT NOW.

I have had my identity stolen, accounts opened and closed, access denied to me, told I could NOT know information regarding my OWN ACCOUNT?? Told they have NO PHONE NUMBER TO REACH THEM, NO WEB SITE, NO FAX NUMBER, NOT EVEN A REAL MAILING ADDRESS! WHAT?!?!

Lucky for GE I am close with some at the SEC and DOJ, have worked directly with one of my state's attorney general's in regards to white collar/ organized crime cases, and after a year of dealing with their ridiculous front line staff, they WILL be hearing from someone -- funny how I just recently got a voicemail from someone at GE's coorporate Department who (slowly and repeated 3x along with phone number) is "very willing to be happy to help me on this issue and would like to get this moving as soon as possible to remedy this 'situation'"

Really?

I already took a year, I can wait longer.

It seems GE money owns everything. I am so ticked that I have vowed to get rid of every card owned by them. My husband has an account owned by them . He is filing bankruptcy so now they reported it a joint account which it isn't..Now that he has filed it seems that this account is all mine and only mine. They have taken his name off and I had to give permission for him to talk to them about the account. HELP! What do we do about them?

Wow folks, there are a lot of us. We are all over the net. Why is no class action being mounted on our behalf? Other credit frauds and duplicitous practices have been successfully prosecuted, why not this? Are they simply too large and intimidating?
My own situation mirrors many of what I read here, payments were not credited properly resulting in huge fees and charges. I'm headed to small claims court. If we all go, they have to hear. Our complaints are timely, the government is on our side and I think well documented, well presented cases will be heard and some justice may be served. Take action

I filed a written dispute in April 2009, here it is Sept 2009 and I have not heard anything from them since May 2009 which all they told me then was that it may take 2 billing cycles to resolve the issue, when I called them in Aug 2009, the lady on the phone could not help me and acted like I was the idiot.

GE Money cancelled my lowes credit card. Their reason was I had too much credit. Even though I had no late payments on any of my accounts. That's fine if they want to do that. I told them to never contact me again with any promos and don't add me to any of their mailing lists. Not only did I get a flyer from Lowes, but GE Money sent me an email promo about their new Lowes credit card website. I sent them an email telling them I no longer want to do business with their company. Lo and behold, I get a phone call the same day from GE Money apologizing for the inconvenience. If any of you really want to contact them directly you can email them at media.relations@ge.com. This is their Lowes acct management info. You can also find the other credit card companies at www.gemoney.com. Hope this helps.

I have been trying to contact this company all day and only get the old "all the operators are busy". I closed out the account I had with them in 2007 after they double charged me for dental services. Somehow they now think that I am still their client and have raised my interest rate to 29.99%....on what??? When I called the (877)317-5544 phone number listed by Google I am told to give them my 5 digit zip code. From just this information they told me that my last payment was $728.30 on 2-1-07 and my balance was $0.00. OK so by just entering a 5 digit zip code they can tell me this information (which is wrong by the way) but they can't figure out that I closed the account not only by phone but also in writing. What is wrong with these people????
