Care Credit should also be listed on a complaint list. Care credit uses your care credit card to post charges on your account without your knowledge, approval or signature. Then GEMB will post late fee to your account, even after being advised of a complaint dispute.

Arlington Family Dentistry has a treatment plan form, they present to the patient and then tries to force that patient adhere to “their” plan, even when the patient says NO. This is a scam to force patients to permit them to perform the services that they have indicated on their form, even though the patient says NO. Sometimes there are 3 or 4 forms they want you to complete each time you visit their office. I refused and realize how they were hiding behind their forms and trying to force you to pay for something you did not need or want. When you dispute their charges, which can amount to $14,000 or more, they proceed to post any charges that you have disputed to Care Credit Care/GEMB without your knowledge, approval or signature. They will send you a letter after the charges have been posted, however, Care Credit and GEMB refuse to charge amount back to Arlington Family Dentistry, since they have already been paid by GEMB and noone cares about the patient (consumer) or their rights. Please give me some advice how I should handle this FRAUD, I call it.

This is the letter that I am sending to GE Money after I experienced their predatory lending practices and numerous unscruptulous and deceifful methods to steal my money:
To all whom are the least bit concerned about GE Money’s predatory lending practices and piss poor costumer service skills:
Let me first start by introducing myself. I believe it’s crucial that a face is attached to this issue. And in doing so, this will hopefully enable you to empathize with the struggles that many folks just like myself find themselves facing due to the downward spiral of this economy. My name is Sharon and I am a professional, hard-working, middle class, middle aged woman. I pay my taxes, pay my debts, and pay my debts on time. I first became acquainted with GE Money through an establishment which I hired to replace my residential air conditioning and heating unit. And every since I’ve elected to embark on this financial agreement, my relationship with GE Money has been ANY THING BUT PLEASANT from the very beginning.
When I initially signed the credit contract “(November 2008), GE Money DID NOT disclose all the terms of the contract. I was given a credit limit of $8100. However, after the promotional period ended, nearly $2000 worth of interest was added to the end of the loan, making my balance exceed my credit limit, which of course, resulted in over-the limit fees for many months. And I’m still being charged finance charges on a monthly basis. Now we fast forward to the present. I opted out of the new fee hikes last December. But when I received my last statement, I was shocked to see my rate had increased to 26.99%. Well, after contacting GE Money, they claim they DO NOT HAVE ANY RECORD of me opting out of the new charges. Of course with GE Money claiming to have no records and me having no proof of what transpired, I am pretty much at you people’s mercy. Besides why would the powers that might be, reinstate my original finance charges at the expense of making a profit for GE Money.
I believe the above business practices to be deplorable, predatory, and certainly unsustainable. I am only one voice. But I’m sure I’m not the first and I won’t be the last to have been deceived by GE Money or companies that engage in these same types of practices. The arrogance of huge, iconic, mega giant companies does not cease to amaze me. It was not so long ago that the people bailed out these huge companies with hard earned tax payers monies. Only to have our interest rates increased by the same companies that begged for a bail out . And to throw salt in the wound, these same companies elected to pay CEOs obscene amounts of money in bonuses with our tax dollars. Even before the bailout, we made your company, and other companies alike, what you are by doing business with you. If it wasn’t for those of us who do the right thing, paying our debts, you wouldn’t exist. You’d be nonexistent.
How do you expect to maintain any loyal customers or any customers at all at this rate? Maybe it’s not your company’s mission because you can care less about integrity, loyalty, and honesty. But from where I’m sitting, it is not smart business practice to treat good customers in this fashion. One bad customer service experience somehow never equate to hundreds of good customer service experiences because bad news always travel much faster and farther than good news. One day you won’t have any customers at all, once they all wise up.
Now with all the above being said, I have decided that you (GE Money) is not worth my loyalty or my hard earned money. You are not worth any further stress, rationalization, or any other reservations I may have regarding the above. Fortunately for me, I have resources that I have been blessed with to pay off the loan in full. I do feel badly for those who have no other recourse but to be under your thumb and submit to your financial oppression and extortion of funds. I ask you, would it have not made better sense or would it have been a smarter business move to allow me to keep paying as I was over the next few years at an interest rate of 12.99% than to try to bully me into paying 26.99%? What did you think would happen? Did you really expect me to pay this over inflated interest rate? Well, I am happy to disappoint you. I hope the $144 of finance charges you received from a payment of $210 was worth the sacrifice of a long lasting, financial relationship, because that is the last finance charge you will ever get from me. I guess sticking it to your existing, loyal customers before the new credit card rules became effective is much more important than trying to maintain a long-lasting business relationship. By all means, relish in your greed. But know this, all great empires fall and usually by their own doing. And if you should fall, I could only pray that this company and others will not be saved by our tax monies ever again.
From this day forward, it is my mission to share with all whom are interested in how GE Money treat their customers. The information will be delivered by as many means as possible. Starting with co-workers, then friends, and what else but the great world-wide web. GE Money should be proud to know that you are not alone. Other financial, banking, home loan, and credit institutions have done as remarkably bad as you. But America is getting smarter, one credit card at a time. By the way, you can take this cut up card and stick it. Consider this account terminated. And I will not be back. In parting, I can only hope that you give some serious thought to some of the issues I have so thoughtfully outlined. SHAME ON YOU GE MONEY!!!!
Lastly, on behalf of millions across the nation, you can take this cut up card and stick it. Consider this account terminated. And I will not be back. I’m sure I speak for a vast number of individuals when I say you can go to hell and kiss my behind.
