7 Passenger Ford Explorer

Q. Which Ford Explorer models offer seating for 7 passengers?

A. For the first time with its 2011 models, Ford is offering all of its Explorer SUVs with three rows of seating for up to 7 passengers as the standard build. The Explorer has offered the 3rd row since 2002, but in the past it has been an option on most Explorers and not a standard feature, so if you are looking at used Explorers, do not assume they are seven-passenger unless that is specifically spelled out in an ad.
